Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Eyeball website at useyeball.dev, including the documentation under /docs (together, the “Site”). The Site is operated by the Eyeball maintainers (“we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.
1. What the Site is
The Site provides information about and documentation for the Eyeball open-source project. The Site itself does not provide user accounts, does not sell products or services, and does not execute software on your behalf.
2. The software is licensed separately
The Eyeball software is open source and distributed under the MIT License. Your use of the software is governed solely by that license as included in the source repository, not by these terms. Nothing on the Site changes, restricts, or extends the MIT License.
3. No hosted service today
References on the Site to “Eyeball Cloud” describe a planned paid hosted product that is not yet available. No hosted service is offered through the Site today. If a hosted service launches, it will be governed by its own terms presented at sign-up.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to disrupt its availability, probing or breaching its security, scraping it in a way that burdens the service, or using it to distribute malicious content.
5. Content and intellectual property
Site content (text, design, and imagery) belongs to the Eyeball maintainers unless noted otherwise. Documentation content mirrors material from the open-source repository and remains under that repository's license. Third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance in documentation (for example, provider names in the toolkit catalog) does not imply endorsement or partnership.
6. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites (such as GitHub and provider documentation). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Site. The software itself carries the warranty disclaimer stated in the MIT License.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the project evolves. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
