Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data is processed when you visit the Eyeball website at useyeball.dev, including the documentation under /docs (the “Site”). Short version: the Site itself collects nothing about you.

1. What we collect

The Site is a static website. It has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics scripts, no advertising, and it sets no tracking cookies. Documentation search runs entirely in your browser and sends no queries to a server. We do not collect, store, or share personal information through the Site.

2. Hosting and server logs

The Site is served by Vercel, our hosting provider. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. That processing is governed by Vercel’s privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

3. The open-source software

The Eyeball software runs where you deploy it. Self-hosted deployments store credentials and data on your own infrastructure; no telemetry is sent to us, and this policy does not apply to what your deployment processes. References to “Eyeball Cloud” describe a planned paid hosted product that is not yet available; if it launches, it will have its own privacy policy covering account and service data.

4. Third-party sites

Links to GitHub, npm, and provider documentation lead to services with their own privacy practices. Interactions there (for example, opening a GitHub issue) are governed by those services’ policies.

5. Children

The Site is developer documentation and is not directed at children.

6. Changes

We will update this policy if the Site’s data practices change — for example, if analytics or a hosted service is added. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
